I can’t believe it’s already August. I’m sure many of you are sharing my same thoughts of where did the time go. Kids are getting ready to start school soon and I feel like I haven’t enjoyed the summer yet. With that said, our annual company picnic is this Saturday and it’s a great opportunity to connect with your family and enjoy some great food. The purpose of this picnic is to bring us together as a team and bless you for all your hard work. We have hundreds of backpacks and school supplies to hand out as well as games and activities for the kids. No kids, no problem, there are plenty attending without children to enjoy some great food and connect with the GSE team. I sincerely hope you are able to stop by even if it’s only for a short time.

Attending a summer picnic might not seem like a big deal, but events like these provide opportunities to expand and grow your relationships. If you have been reading my letters this year you know that our company word for the year is Relationships. This word was birthed out of my personal realization that having healthy positive relationships is vital to my well-being. What is life without people to share it with? In my experience, when you do life with others that are moving in a positive direction something really great begins to happen. You begin to grow and achieve more than you could ever imagine. “Surround yourself with people who have dreams, desire, and ambition and they’ll help you push for and realize your own.” Ultimately, this is my desire for the culture of Golden Standard. To create a community of individuals who can encourage each other to grow to reach their full potential. With an inspired group of people moving in the same direction anything is possible.
